James P. Sheets is a founding partner of Sheets, Rosselli, Horowitz and Collins LLC, who devotes his practice to criminal defense and civil litigation. Mr. Sheets began his legal career working for Nationwide Title and Appraisal Company where he ran the Real Estate Closing Department. Thereafter, he worked as a trial attorney with the Allegheny County Office of the Public Defender where he represented clients at every stage of the criminal justice system. Mr. Sheets’ trial experience includes cases of every criminal matter from driving under the influence to homicide.
Mr. Sheets entered private practice by starting his own law firm. A short time later, Mr. Sheets and Mr. Rosselli formed the firm of Sheets and Rosselli LLC. Together Mr. Sheets and Mr. Rosselli have tried numerous felony jury trials in addition to handling thousands of other cases.

Giuseppe G.C. Rosselli is not only the managing partner of Sheets, Rosselli, Horowitz and Collins LLC, but also one of its founders.
Prior to his role with Sheets, Rosselli, Horowitz & Collins, L.L.C., Mr. Rosselli worked as a judicial clerk, as well as with several prominent criminal defense attorneys based in Western Pennsylvania. During his career, Mr. Rosselli has successfully represented hundreds of clients throughout Western Pennsylvania at every stage of the criminal justice process. While Mr. Rosselli concentrates his practice in both the civil litigation and criminal defense areas, his practice also extends to rehabilitative efforts. Mr. Rosselli assists clients by working closely with numerous drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers to deal with what often times is the primary cause of criminal conduct: drug and alcohol abuse.

Joseph Horowitz is a partner in the law firm of Sheets, Rosselli, Horowitz and Collins LLC where he practices criminal defense and civil litigation.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Horowitz worked at the Law Office of Horowitz and Horowitz in Havertown, Pennsylvania where he practiced criminal law, personal injury law and family law. Thereafter, Mr. Horowitz moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and gained considerable trial experience working as an Assistant District Attorney in Allegheny County. Mr. Horowitz spent over eight years as a prosecutor during which time he tried thousands of criminal cases. Prior to leaving the District Attorney's Office, Mr. Horowitz was assigned to the narcotics division where he focused exclusively on cases involving large amounts of narcotics. Additionally, Mr. Horowitz ran the Drug Court program for the District Attorney's Office. Seeking to return to private practice and use his experience as a prosecutor, Mr. Horowitz decided to join Sheets, Rosselli, Horowitz and Collins LLC.

Matthew C. Collins is a partner of Sheets, Rosselli, Horowitz and Collins LLC where he devotes his practice to both civil litigation and criminal defense. After working for several prestigious law firms in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mr. Collins decided to join Sheets, Rosselli, Horowitz and Collins LLC where he could better serve his clients and focus on his areas of practice.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Collins worked as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Zoran Popovich of the Pennsylvania Superior Court. Thereafter, Mr. Collins gained considerable trial experience as a trial lawyer employed by the Office of the Allegheny County Public Defender. Mr. Collins left government employment to work for Grenen and Birsic, P.C. and Metz Lewis LLC. While employed at these firms, Mr. Collins maintained a nationwide practice that focused on criminal defense and such commercial litigation matters as breach of contract, creditors’ rights, shareholder disputes, employment discrimination, RICO, and fraud claims.
